Introduction
This page is a collection of intriguing, mysterious and downright goofy infromation about the (official) Sonic the Hedgehog line of games. It deals with everything from Sonic the Hedgehog on the Master System to Sonic Adventure on SEGA Dreamcast.
It's basically an archive of weird STH data the author has collected since 1998, when Andre Alex Dirk had shown the world his interesting Sonic 2 cartridge. Most of the info here is exclusive unless it was "borrowed" by others. Meaning there is stuff here you won't find anywhere else!
The original authors of the finding have been listed where I myself am not the author.

STC: STEM

Dr Zachary's site, and Area 51's (only) affiliate. I haven't heard from my old pal Zac in a while, so I dunno if he still goes around by that nickname. As the matter of fact, I haven't been to this site for so long I don't even know if it still exists. O_o Huh. How about that. And it's my affiliate. If my IC wasn't closed right now, I'd probably go there instantly...oh well, I'll just go and visit Samantha Cla...er, Thomas Huxley some other time. I promise. I always do. Promise, I mean.

(I just noticed that the page is indeed lost. I am keeping the link up in the memory of my only affiliate. The fact that this page is already named "Links & Affiliates" on each and very one of Area 51's pages doesn't have anything to do with this. Really, it doesn't. =B)

The Moogle Cavern

It's a cavern.

Full of Moogles.

With a ganz neu message board system.

(Come on, give me a break here, after my old description, I dunno WHAT to write here. =|)

Simon Wai's Sonic 2 Beta Page

Today, saying Simon Wai doesn't mean anything, but back in '99 it meant everything. Simon Wai gave the world the Sonic 2 Beta ROM, created the community of Sonic Research geeks (though it was technically Michael Stearns that started it, but nobody cares about old G Silver anymore, it seems), and then, like all living legends, simply...vanished without a trace. He was the ultimate Messiah for the newest batch of SSR fanboys.
(A couple of years later he returned, but, again, nobody seems to care about that small fact. :P)
In 2300, Simon will probably be made the Patron of Sonic Stuff Research, but for now, Pelord does a great job maintaing his site. The community is still there and well, but it's on EzBoard, and you already know about me and EzBoard...

The Sonic Database

W00t. I can't be very cynical here, not because ICEknight is one of the admins on my messageboard and might leave in anger if I insult his site, but because it's simply a great page he has here. The layout's a bit difficult to navigate as it takes awhile to load, but then again, who am I to talk about layouts? This page contains interviews, very, very, very,...(ten years pass)...very interesting information and some downright eye-popping pictures and hacking discoveries. Plus, he has pics of the legendary Nick Arcade video shwoing Sonic 2 Alpha in action!

The Sonic Cult

The self-proclaimed "Sonic page that doesn't suck", this page hasn't changed at all in all these years. It still updates with weird Sonic information retreived from outside sources and using hefty amounts of bad language, doing it better than ever. I'm just happy he doesn't link to my site anymore. I'll show you who's the "worlds leader in crappy HTML"...*grumbles*

Oh and, by the way, Dust Hill does exist. NYA!

Sonic CD Hacking Guide

Yeah, it's my other site. I figured that SOMEBODY needs to link to it. It has been started with great enthusisam, then forgotten, then given to Ryoga Masaki, then raped brutally, then ressurected, then updated, then redesigned, then abandoned and now it's here. Still abandoned and frogotten. And, worse yet, it has my name written all over the place. So Rattlem...er, the public can go on and on about how lazy Jan is and how he never updates, while they themselves don't have the guts to take over and do something with this hacking guide (which is, by the way, the only Sonic CD hacking guide out there). Bleh. *feels sorry for himself*

Sonic Xtreme Information Database

This site at BlazeHedgehog's control is the reason I don't have a Sonic X-Treme section. It is all about Sonic X-Treme. If you are looking for Sonic X-Treme, you'll find everything available here. Go here fo all your Sonic X-Treme needs. Man, I like saying "Sonic X-Treme". "X-Treme". It's such a rough word. Reminds me of tremors, soil and rocks. *shoots himself*
...
Whew, I needed that. Anyway, like the title implies, every leaked bit of Sonic X-Treme information eventually ends up here. Not to even mention good old Blaze's ability to crank out surprisingly good looking layouts in a matter of seconds. I'm jealous. *snicker*

The Sonic Metropolis

Made back in '99 by sonicblur, now ran by Sth2k. A great site, especially for the SA info and downloads. You might wanna fix the alt on my banner now, Sth2k. (Yes, I read everything.) Thank goodness he fixed the "and is updated frequently!", while we're on the subject of sharing links. And if you, the common visitor, don't undertstand any of my iside jokes here, well...this is what this very section of Area 51 is for, isn't it? :P But let's not stray off to...em, let's not stray TOO off-topic here.
By the way, have I ever mentioned that sonicblur is the master of SA and SA2 cracking? Well, I might as well say it now: sonicblur is the master of SA and SA2 cracking. There. Now, about those Sonic Adventure ADX files...em...

Shadow of a Hedgehog

I WANT TO BE GIVEN CREDIT FOR THE KNUCKLES IN SONIC'S LOST WORLD DISCOVERY!!! DIE, DIE, DIE!!!

Ahem. This site seems to be a descendant of Sonique's old Sonic Pandemonium site. It's full of evrything Sonic (don't worry...they don't have a "losers and idiots" section anymore... ;D). Even evil, illegal stuff such as l33t mP3 wAr3Z and...er...Sonic music videos.
Which I've never taken a chance to look at, but you might. Yes, you, back there in the corner, who accidently ran into this site looking for Sonic music without willing to shell out money to actually buy the stuff...
...
...Uh, didn't Neon Chaos run SA: Total Neon back then? Is this site really a descendant of SP as I've been told? O_o
...
...bah, nevermind, just give me credit for "Lost Lost World" and I will remove the link. Othervise, the link stays! And you will live forever with your name tarnished on Area 51's dreaded cynical links page! Muahahaha...
