Introduction
This page is a collection of intriguing, mysterious and downright goofy infromation about the (official) Sonic the Hedgehog line of games. It deals with everything from Sonic the Hedgehog on the Master System to Sonic Adventure on SEGA Dreamcast.
It's basically an archive of weird STH data the author has collected since 1998, when Andre Alex Dirk had shown the world his interesting Sonic 2 cartridge. Most of the info here is exclusive unless it was "borrowed" by others. Meaning there is stuff here you won't find anywhere else!
The original authors of the finding have been listed where I myself am not the author.

Sonic 2 (Page 2)

Hidden Palace Zone (continued)

Hid...bah, you know it.

I nicked this screenshot from Solly's Site. It's too odd to be forgotten or mistaken for a regular HPZ screenshot, and it's because of...

A Detail
...THIS detail.

It's something not found in the Beta version of Sonic 2's Hidden Palace. It's an emerald mural/statue/carving of some sort, and evidence that HPZ was being worked on after the beta known to mankind. However, there's more...

Emerald Zone, according to the magazine, but nevermind...

Yep, you've all seen this pic. It's of Hidden Palace and it's from a very early version of Sonic 2. Some even say it's FAKE. The detail that fazes here, though, is the following:

Another Detail

This is part of the background, in case you haven't noticed and are scratching your head right now. It relates to this:

A Detail

BMF54123, may I never mistaken him for someone else, found this inside Sonic 2 Beta's data. It's the very part of HPZ background featured on the pic above (I don't know who made the relation, but it wasn't me, and I'd like to give the person credit for the find). The...thing on the left...is a bit off, as it's actually part of an arch pasted together with stalagmites and stalactites, which is wrong, but the second is perfect, as you can see. What significance does it have? Probably none, but hey, it's pretty darn cool.

Yes it is.

And so freaking what if I link to the MS homepage. Boo.
