Ok, I was playing Sonic 1 the other day. When I got to
"Final Zone" and was battling EggMan that's when it hit
me. I paused the game and asked myself, "Ok, why is
there pistons here?" The answer came out of the blue,
"Maybe, I'm inside the Death Egg."

And then, the impossible happened. "What if Sonic 1,
Sonic 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles were supposed to be _ONE_
game?" Think about it. No really, Think about it. They
split the original Sonic 3 into Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles.

Ok, back then they didn't have the tech to make it. But
Sega had to do something. And so, they split the game.
Makes sense, eh? Ties together some of those hundreds
of loose ends. Now, if somebody can write an "Unofficial"
story to connect all of these games...
