  • I would put up a seperate page for this, but for now, I have added it to the news. Anyway, many of you want to be hosted on SSRG. That is fine and all, but there are some things to go by first. We need a working sample of your work. Just saying that you have a project with a bunch of members doing their own jobs on it, but no work is avalible will not work. Also, we ask of you to keep it up to SSRG standards and to make it something worth-while. You can e-mail me or Andy for more information.

  • It has been about 7 or 8 months since Combi-Sonic v0.06 Alpha has been out. Now, FINALLY, the long awaited v0.07 is out and ready for download. Though, some cool new things are in it, I suggest reading the Combi-Sonic news page for secret plans for v0.10!

  • The infamous Secrets of Sonic the Hedgehog section is back up and in full swing! Andre Dirk, the founder of the section, gave up his post awhile back. Knuckles the Echidna, a friend of Andre, has been given ownership of the site. The website has been redone in the original “purple” color scheme to give it the nostalgic look of the original layout of the site. You can check it out here SSRG.

  • Check out the new "Game Studies" section for a barnd new page under construction called the Chaos Story Lair. This page will review many mysteries in the Sonic games and will give many explanations as to why things are the way they are.

  • Combi-Sonic is now a part of SSRG! This project has been hosted on Emulation Zone for almost a year and I figured mabey a little more attention could do it some good. SSRG was the first thing that came to mind, so I moved the page and all! Just check out the Fan Game Projects section for info.

  • Here is the scoop for my big plan for SSRG. I plan to have an online streaming radio! The plan is to have 22kHz quality sound rate and have it from from 2:00pm to 8:00pm (US eastern time). This hasn't been confirmed yet though. The whole radio idea may be canned. This WILL cost me money after all. This will in no way be in competition with WSSN (SegaSonic.Net Radio). I will support music, news in the Sonic world (mostly anything based around hacking and developing) and I will support advertising. I am probley going to have a charge on ad's though. I figured mabey anywhere from 75 cents to 2$. Who knows, it may be free. Anyway, I am currently in the process of talking to the Emulation World server admin about this, so stay tuned for more information.

  • Appearent, the domain name of ssrg.emulationzone.org is not working for some people. The reason is because the new DNS entries for ssrg.emulationzone.org have not struck all the world's DNS servers yet (or the DNS servers are waiting until Monday morning to process any new DNS requests.) Until then, pass the word around to those that can't access SSRG properly.
