Introduction
This page is a collection of intriguing, mysterious and downright goofy infromation about the (official) Sonic the Hedgehog line of games. It deals with everything from Sonic the Hedgehog on the Master System to Sonic Adventure on SEGA Dreamcast.
It's basically an archive of weird STH data the author has collected since 1998, when Andre Alex Dirk had shown the world his interesting Sonic 2 cartridge. Most of the info here is exclusive unless it was "borrowed" by others. Meaning there is stuff here you won't find anywhere else!
The original authors of the finding have been listed where I myself am not the author.

GG/MS Sonic Games (Page 3)

Fang da Sn1p3R

This was found by Knuckles Prower. It shows an early...screenshot of cutscene from Sonic Triple Trouble.

Not only that the game is called Sonic Chaos 2, Nack the Weasel (originally Fang the Sniper) is called Jet the Sniper and...he's got a gun. Staying true to his name. However, he never holds a gun in the final version; all he has is that mobile thing of his. Besides, he never shows up anywhere but Special Stages and the final part of the final stage. My guess is that this is from an early intro, where instead of Knuckles the emeralds were taken by Nack/Fang/Jet (which makes sense since you DO get the emeralds back from him, not from Knux). Interesting indeed.

And lookie, Nack's got holes in his hat from shooting. ;)

Sonic Spinball Beta

Another one by Knuckles Prower. It's not much different from the final, though, except that it mentions FIVE stages instead of FOUR, but they could have counted the Special Stage in there.

And so freaking what if I link to the MS homepage. Boo.
