Introduction
This page is a collection of intriguing, mysterious and downright goofy infromation about the (official) Sonic the Hedgehog line of games. It deals with everything from Sonic the Hedgehog on the Master System to Sonic Adventure on SEGA Dreamcast.
It's basically an archive of weird STH data the author has collected since 1998, when Andre Alex Dirk had shown the world his interesting Sonic 2 cartridge. Most of the info here is exclusive unless it was "borrowed" by others. Meaning there is stuff here you won't find anywhere else!
The original authors of the finding have been listed where I myself am not the author.

Sonic 3 (Page 1)

Mushroom Valley, Flying Battery, Sandopolis...these zones all appear in Sonic 3 level select. Hey, you can even play music from Sonic & Knuckles in the sound test! The truth is, Sonic & Knuckles is only SEGA' s cheap marketing trick! All of S&K' s levels vere in beta of Sonic 3. And, with a lot of bugs, no implented floors, no graphics, they are still in Sonic 3!
This was first discovered by Thomas Pitt.

Lava Reef Zone

Bonus stage?Bonus stage?

Another deleted level. The palette is from intro of Angel Island, but the music is from special stage. There is no "score" and "time" info.

Most of these stages will crash in a short while. Flying Battery is the most complete; somewhere on par with Hidden Palace from Sonic 2.

And so freaking what if I link to the MS homepage. Boo.
