November 1999 News

(12-05-99)

  • Sonic Team JR has moved to SSRG! Just check out the Fan Game Projects section to get to it.

    (11-30-99)
  • Wiseman's Spanish mirror of Andy's Lock-On Technolgy Hacking doc has been posted. Goto the Lock-On Technology hacking page for the link.

    (11-25-99)
  • Happy Thanksgiving everybody!

    (11-23-99)
  • In case you didn't notice already, two brand new sections are here! Introducing, the ROM Projects and the Sonic 3K Hacking. You can read all about them and see them using the links.

    (11-21-99)
  • Andy will be adding Wiseman's Spanish mirror of the Lock-On Technology hacking page during Thanksgiving break. Also, if things go well, he add some stuff to the page as well.

    (11-20-99)
  • Some interesting info has been released on copying games onto and from Dreamcast GD-ROM's. You can read it here

    (11-09-99)
  • Sonic Desktop beta will be out soon. It won't be the best thing in the world and to configure it, you will need to know how to configure INI files which most people do. If you don't, no need to worrie. It will have a configuration tool later on. This will be released official to SSRG. The reason for this is because I feel it could use something different for a change and so I desided on this. Anyway, stay tuned for more info.

  • A late announcement, but better now than never. If you haven't heard, the Sonic Blast ROM for Game Gear has been dumped as a fully functional version. You can get it here.

  • I desided to stop arguing about visitor #30000 and just give the credit to both the people who notified me. There may be a very small chance that the counter sends out the same number for more than one user. So, who knows. Anyway, I would like to gladly present to everyone, the two #30000 visitors. Presenting, Scott Jones and Robert Flory!

  • SSRG version 2.1 will be later tha I hoped due to the lack of ideas. I personally have my own ideas, but there aren't enought of them to make it worth it all. PLEASE, if you have ideas of things that need improving, contact me ASAP.

  • Since MegaOS deals more towards fanmade games (on the Sonic subject) rather than general Sonic info, I desided to move the page in with the Fanmade Games section, so catch all of the latest info there.

    (10-30-99)
  • The Maze archive is here. However, nothing has been uploaded yet, so give it time. If you can't get in, try later or so.

    (10-28-99)
  • SSRG v2.1 is almost ready for release. I need as much feedback about ideas as possible. I can't promise that I will get to every idea or even want to use all your ideas. If this happens, please don't be offended in any way. I only try to make things the best for me and others and must choose wisely.

  • A brand new scanned picture from the UK Sonic comic #14 is here. Special thanks to David Webster for submitting it. It features two snapshots, one from Sonic Chaos and the other from Sonic CD. You can get it here.
